The work of designers Janet Perry and Christina Kilduff on John’s Island Beach Club was featured in this month’s Vero Beach Magazine. Perry and Kilduff transformed this outdated beach club in Vero Beach, FL into a luxurious and comfortable space for families to enjoy the summer sun. Recognizing that the beach club served as many members’ “home away from home,” the designers worked hard to keep the beach club’s clients in mind when creating the “at-home” ambiance that the club has become so famous for. Janet Perry elaborates that, “these members don’t go to the club every once in a while, they live there. They come for breakfast or lunch, stay on to play cards or to enjoy the beach and then return home for dinner.” For this reason, Perry and Kilduff created warm, inviting spaces that are beautiful aesthetically, but are completely functional and livable as well.
